In a letter addressed to the NUJ Chairman, the organisers also invited Alabelewe to serve as a Guest of Honour at the event, which is expected to bring together government officials, security agencies, traditional rulers, religious leaders, civil society groups and other stakeholders.

AVSAPCIN said the lecture is part of its efforts to promote peaceful coexistence, strengthen respect for human rights and raise awareness on the rights and responsibilities of citizens in building a stable society.

The organisation described itself as a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit body committed to advancing peace, justice and a violence-free society across Nigeria through advocacy and public engagement.

According to the organisers, the event will be chaired by the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, while the Secretary to the State Government will serve as Chief Host. It is scheduled to hold at the General Hassan Usman Katsina House, Kawo, Kaduna, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The invitation letter, signed by AVSAPCIN Founder and National Chairman, Sani A. Ibrahim Kamakasa, noted that the recognition of the NUJ Chairman is in appreciation of his role in promoting responsible journalism, peaceful coexistence and public enlightenment through the media.
