The governorship aspiration of Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, the Gombe State 2027 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has received another significant boost following the resignation of Honourable Muhammad Buhari Dalhatu, Special Adviser to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the state for the 2027 election, Professor Isa Ali Pantami on Youth Leadership and Community Engagement.

Dalhatu, who formally tendered his resignation, reaffirmed his commitment to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and declared his support for the success of the APC at all levels in the 2027 general elections.
Commenting on the defection of Pantami’s youth adviser to his camp, Jamilu welcomed Hon. Muhammad Buhari Dalhatu and commended his decision to remain steadfast in the APC, adding that the future of Gombe State must be built on unity, competence, experience, continuity and a commitment to consolidate the gains already recorded under the leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
Our correspondent reports that before Dalhatu, several notable figures and close associates of Pantami in recent time left his political camp.
Some of them include; Affan Buba Abuya, his former Personal Assistant, Sunusin Gombe, known as Ameer who coordinated the Pantamiyya political structure; and Dahiru Saidu Nafada, a close ally and influential figure in Professor Pantami’s political journey, who has now aligned with Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna.
